Car Wash Cafe

FOOD REVIEW: CAFE CAFE, KUCHING

Yesterday, my husband and I follow my parents for dinner @ CAFE CAFE!  They told me it was a car wash cafe which they provide car wash service and serve food too.  There are some other car wash provide food too but it is like kopitiam so i thought it was the same.

Then when we reached it surprise me!  It is so big and nice deco!  Its a real restaurant high-class restaurant!  It was fully booked in the aircon room so we had no choice to sit outside with the smoking zone.

We also bring our Lil Bun to join our dinner but she is too sticky to me so I had to hug her all the time even - eating!

Here comes our order........:

Healthy drink, ice lemon tea, earl grey & detox special

 But the detox drink was send over late (almost being forgotten) so we dint have it on the photo.

Healthy drink -  RM 10.00

Detox special - RM 10.00

Earlgrey Tea - RM 5.00

Ice lemon Tea - RM 5.00

Beef Rendang - RM 25.00

Nyonya Fried Rice - RM18.00

Fish & Chips - RM19.00

Lamb Satay - RM 18.00

And there is one more dish we ordered: Midin Sambal - RM15.00.  The price is quite expensive but I think it is worth for that price as the portion is very big and taste super nice!  Can you believe the Nyonya Fried Rice we share among ourself (5 adults)!  And it is enough!  But the food are a lil quite salty so we ordered plain rice (RM2.00) to finish the midin especially! :)

However, the waitress is very friendly and always put a big smile on their face!  

When I was half way enjoy eating, lil bun cry and scream for milk, well........ so I had to walk to the car to feed her.  Then come back to finish my dinner.

Confinement Birthday

Early in the morning, hubby gives me a kiss and a "happy birthday".  Although I replied "thank you" but I feel nothing special except manja (an extra extra EXTRA special gift) this year and will not have any celebration and nice food to eat course I am still on confinement.  So after feeding the crying manja, I went to bed laying down scrolling fb up and down.

Suddenly, the door open and saw hubby with a big plate and say "Dear come... I cook you extra special breakfast".

I never thought of having other food except unsalted mee sua everyday and hubby cook me unsalted western breakfast which make me a lot more wanted to eat!  LOL!  After eating manja asking for a dyper change again!

Then, my dearest sista come to my house to accompany me in the afternoon while hubby prepare a special dinner for me, he said.  She help us to snap our 1st COMPLETE family photo! 

Then, finally dinner was served!!  Hubby made the whole burger even the meat inside except the bread lah...  DOUBLE pork DOUBLE cheese Unsalted Burger!

Thank you to my hubby to make my birthday which fall within my confinement real real real extra extra special with our lil manja this year and hopefully more to come!

Free Birds Review

My man and I went to GSC to watch movie last night after dinner at home. We decided to watch free birds because it is only 92mins and our 2nd option is Thor but it is around 112mins. He scares me do not have enough sleep to work today. Ok well, glad that he always do think of me about everything. :)

"FREE BIRDS" is not a perfect story but not a bad story line too. It keep all of us all laugh throughout the movie! Indeed a very funny movie! The main character named: Reggie, the smartest turkey on the farm. He realized that the "turkey paradise" that his friends are saying is actually their own vicious slaughter before ending up as the main course in a delicious Thanksgiving meal. Then, Reggie is desperate to show his clan that they'are been fattened up to be eaten. Unfortunately, no one wants to listen and he shouted turkey is stupid.

The President of the United States to choose Reggie to receive the annual pardon. However, Reggie's easy life is disrupted by Jake, a fanatic turkey who drags him along to a secret mission with the insane idea of going back in time to keep turkeys off the menu in the Thanksgiving menu. 

They travel by a time machine named: Steve, back to the 1st Thanksgiving in the year 1621. Reggie and Jake soon find themselves in the middle of a turkey clan's struggle for survival. Lastly, Reggie save all the turkeys by delivering pizza from the future to the past and human eat pizza instead of turkey for Thanksgiving till the future.

Well......... for me, this movie is a total comedy which make me laugh. But be honest, my man was not attracted with the story line, he say the story line is not logic enough and found that this story is half way hanging which the ending is not impressive enough. He declare that this movie should not end with turkey deliver pizza to the human and stop eating turkey for the Thanksgiving but should give corn instead. So the young kids who watch this movie will not be confused with the food chain knowledge.

After the movie we went to the autopay machine to pay for the carpark coupon fee, the machine did not want our RM5 and a young boy behind give us RM1 to pay for us. That's what happens when my man did not want to listen to me about the fact of the machine do not want to accept notes except RM1. A lesson learnt to listen to your wife! :)  hehehe

Sickness Attack

I am sick for almost 1 week. Well, sick is very tiring but glad to have him beside me. I am like a queen when I get sick! My boyfie is a very lazy man... :p So usually I am the one who do all the cleaning and washing. However worth to do for him too... (quickly explain) :)

Although, he was quite lazy... but he will still help to clean up the dogs house and cook for me!

MY 22 BIRTHDAY

Two days before my birthday, my boyfie was so busy. He told me he had a lot of work to do meeting customers and working. So wasn't free to bring me out for lunch as usual. Just a few sms the whole day. I wandering what he was doing. Yet I had no answer. But he pick me for dinner at night and send me home early as he said he was very tired.

13 JUNE 2013

Then the next day, we went to Palm beach for some space for just two of us! It was a hot sunny day. After a nap, it was 430pm. The sun wasn't as hot as 2pm. So we get up and get ready for a good swim.  The pool water was still cold even the sun was so hot! We are shaking in the pool. The pool was like Marina Sand Bay concept. Beautiful designed! After a good swim in the pool we went to the beach! The beach was great but unfortunately there is so many sand-fly! I get the kiss mark all over my body and he got it too! However, we still enjoy our 1st "beach-moon" together! Then we get back to our room to put on clothes and he ask me to wear on his jacket to prevent more sand-fly. Well, thanks dear! We took our camera and out for a long walk at the beach!

After our buffet dinner, we walk around the resort before heading back to our chalet for a good rest as we decided to wake up early in the morning to catch the sunrise. He tell me that he had asked his friend to make my birthday cake but dont know when will it be ready. Then he kiss me goodnight and a happy birthday.

14 JUNE 2013

The next morning, my boyfie wake me up with a big hug and a big kiss. 

"HAPPY BIRTHDAY DEAR! Let's get up for sunrise" he said. 

I wore his jacket and off from bed!

After breakfast, we decide to go to the fish market to buy some sea-crab home. So we check out early by 1030am and off we go! We had a lot of kiss mark from the sand-flies but we do enjoy our "beach-moon", it's worth! 

Then we send our car for a car wash and have a short rest at his house. When I open his fridge to have some water, I saw a birthday cake inside. I wander who's birthday is falling on the same day as mine in his house. He give me a smile and say: 

"It's for you, dear!"

"When is your friend send the cake here since we are out?"

"I bake the cake myself just for you dear on the 12th!"

"You lied to me that you are busy meeting customer and working just to give me this surprise?"

"Yes, dear! I dint meet any people but I am really busy looking for all the ingredients and finish this cake just for you. But I fail to search for strawberry."

I am so touching and don't know what to say

"Thank you dear!" with a hug and a kiss

He then return me a kiss. I am so surprise and excited to eat the cake. I am super duper touching! After the surprise, we get ready for dinner with my family.

I wanted to thanks my man for giving me such a simple yet wonderful birthday which he had already planned in the early APRIL! Thanks for the beach-moon and the yummiest cake I ever ate!
